Steve McQueen's Jaguar XKSS

Steve McQueen, known for his love of fast cars and motorcycles, bought his Jaguar XKSS in 1958 before his career had taken off.

As his fame increased, so did his daring:

He drove fast and ran from the cops without second thoughts. Once, he tricked a patrolman into racing him and a supposedly in-labor Nellie to the hospital; Nellie was pregnant, sure, but only by six months. McQueen waited for the patrolman to leave, then told the nurses, "false alarm." Nellie was so angry she didn't speak to Steve for the rest of the day.

Back Up Cameras Will Be Mandatory in 2018

NHTSA to mandate back up cameras on all new cars

Beginning in 2016, the NHTSA will start phasing in a requirement that all new cars, SUVs, trucks and vans come equipped with rear view visibility systems.

All drivers will now have a 10 foot by 20 foot view of what's behind them.

"In a 2010 report, the DOT's NHTSA said that each year 210 people die and 15,000 are injured in light-vehicle backup incidents, with about 31% of the deaths among kids under age 5 and 26% adults over 70."

Using Google+ to Connect with Customers

Toyota is using Google+ Hangouts interactively with customers

Google has been rolling out new tools for businesses as part of their Google Plus platform over the past couple of years.

One of those tools are Hangouts.  Hangouts let you connect with other users over video and share your screen.  Hangouts go far beyond video conferencing though.

Toyota has taken Hangouts to a new level and lets customers collaborate on customizing a car together, and can even bring in a Toyota representative to answer questions.
